What is Monster Hunt?
A city game like a treasure hunt – except the monsters are real: fountain figures, sculptures and stone faces on Vienna's facades. Public art that most people walk past every day.
A mysterious grumpiness has settled over the Wurstelprater. One by one, the Prater's legends – from the Venetians to Wurschtel – are being forgotten. And where memories fade, only one thing remains: grumpy monsters. Wake the travelling showfolk and free the Viennese from their grumpiness!
How to play
Unfold the map, read the letter
The letter on the back of the city map tells the story and explains the game. The map shows you where to go.
Head to Praterstern
That's where you start, with scratch card number 1.
Scratch and solve
First scratch off the “Legend”. After that, you decide how many clues you need to find the monster.
Found the monster?
Scratch off the picture and compare. With the secret code on wunderkammer.wien you can read the monster's story and see its exact location – which is also the solution if you couldn't find it.
